Instinct, Flash Step, Race V2, and Aura are the four ability tracks. Race V1 passives exist before the orb. The active race skill is T and only exists after V2.

Instinct
Instinct dodges attacks and lets you see enemies through walls. Levels raise the dodge stock:
- Level 1: 5 dodges, or 8 with Sus Pals
- Level 2: 8, or 11 with Sus Pals
- Level 3: 10, or 13 with Sus Pals
Turn it on as a move is about to connect if that move can be dodged. Dark Z and X are the published examples. A dodge that breaks a combo is called an instinct trick. It does not dodge every move, and this page does not have a full list of which hits ignore it.
Flash Step
Flash Step teleports a distance that grows with its level. Cooldowns are 15 seconds at level 1, 10 seconds at level 2, and 7.5 seconds at level 3. The stud range is not printed.
Race V2
You start as Human, which has no passive and no V2. Watermelon Man rerolls Human, Rabbit, Bird, and Fish. The race page lists the four names as Human, Mink, Bird, and Fish, then describes Rabbit with bunny ears. Rabbit and Mink are the same slot. Each outcome is listed at 25%.
An awakened race stays awakened after a later reroll.
Dancing Banana on Snow Island gives the awaken quest: defeat 100 Soggas. Soggas are level 1000 and are the strongest enemies on that island. One item note says the quest expects level 1000. The abilities writeup says a lower-level player can still finish it slowly. The turn-in pays $10,000 and one Awakening Orb. Orbs can be traded. Hold the orb and use Awaken.
- Rabbit V2 briefly raises speed. It does not heal or add defense.
- Bird V1 adds jump height and wings. V2 adds temporary infinite air jumps and fast healing. A full combo can still outdamage the heal.
- Fish V1 ignores sea damage even with a power, and adds a shark fin. V2 cuts damage taken by 80% for a short window. The window can end before a long combo finishes. Fish is the race called out for Meme Beast farming.
Aura
Aura adds damage and defense and lets you hit elemental users. Train it by dealing damage while it is on. Special moves count, not only basic clicks. A damage tester on the starter island is mentioned as a training target.
| Aura level | Experience required | Defense | Damage |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 0 | +12.5% | +25% |
| 2 | 500 | +25% | +50% |
| 3 | 750 | +37.5% | +75% |
| 4 | 875 | +50% | +100% |
Colors are cosmetic. Roll them for 10 Gems. They are not extra aura levels.
Meme Cube, the Aura key item, drops from Meme Beast. One item table lists that drop at 50%. The beast itself is on a 30-minute sea timer.
