First session on Floppa Island

Choose a team, clear the Floppa Island quests, click Lava Floppa 1,000 times, and spend the first stat points on the weapon you are holding.

What this session finishes

You leave Floppa Island with a team, the level 1 quest chain started, one Quest Scroll plan, and the exclusive Floppa weapon if you finish 1,000 clicks. You do not need a code, a Legendary power, or a boat to do this.

Pick a team, then move

On join you choose Floppa or Cheems. Floppa is the pirate team and Cheems is the marine team. The choice does not change quests, gacha, or the level cap. Cheems Recruiter stands on Floppa Island if you want to switch to Cheems later.

Official controls:

  • Q dash
  • Spacebar jump
  • Ctrl sprint
  • T race ability, after Race V2
  • R Flash Step, after you buy it
  • E Instinct, after you buy it
  • B Aura, after you buy it

Power skills, when that power has them, use Z, X, C, V, and F.

First quests on Floppa Island

The quest board on the first island, for one quest slot and without extra quest bonuses, is:

Level Target Task Cash EXP
1 Floppa Defeat 5 1,000 7,500
50 Golden Floppa Defeat 4 1,500 15,000
100 Big Floppa Defeat 1 10,000 60,000
150 Doge Defeat 5 2,000 45,000
200 Cheems Defeat 4 2,500 60,000
250 Walter Dog Defeat 1 12,500 150,000

Stay back on Big Floppa. It is the first boss and has no special kit beyond its finisher. A 10% drop on that kill is the Floppa Hat.

Walter Dog is the level 250 boss. Cheems Cola, used for Flame Katana, drops from him. One writeup lists 15% and another lists 10%, so treat the cola as uncommon rather than a fixed one-in-ten.

Get the Floppa weapon before you shop

Cool Floppa stands near the Floppa enemies by the four pillars. The quest is to click Lava Floppa 1,000 times. The reward is $50,000 and the exclusive Floppa weapon.

Equip it and use Floppa Rain, the X move, on the clustered level 1 Floppas. That move stuns and hits an area, which is why it clears the first quest faster than Combat punches. The weapon is strong for early grinding and has long cooldowns. It is not a late-game plan by itself.

You can buy Katana from Doge for $5,000 on the same island if you want a shop weapon first. Hanger is sold in a cave on this island. One source prices Hanger at $25,000 and another at $7,500, so check the NPC prompt before you grind a specific amount.

Stats for this weapon

Open Menu, then Stats, after each level. While Floppa or any sword is your damage, put points into Weapon. Put points into Health when a boss chunk takes you down, which starts to matter on Big Floppa and Walter Dog.

Leave Melee alone unless you are using Combat or Diamond as your real damage. Power does nothing until you eat a power.

One Quest Scroll, then stop buying them

Popcat on Floppa Island sells a Quest Scroll for $1,000,000. Unstore it from the Items tab and use it. It raises the quest limit. You can buy more than one, but only one can be used. Do not keep spending millions on extra scrolls.

Level 25, level 50, then leave

Guides that show the code box say Redeem Codes opens at level 25. Repeat the earliest quest until that box appears, then redeem from the codes page before you roll.

At level 50, Floppa Gacha sells a random power for $25,000 and Doge Gacha sells the same table for 25 Gems. Both stand in the safe zone. A Common power is a travel tool more than a build. Fly and Invisible have almost no combat kit. Bomb is the Common people actually fight with.

Snow Island is the next quest region. A 2024 island guide puts the visit level at 300. The next named quest targets after Walter Dog are Staring Fish at 300, Hamster at 350, Snow Tree at 400, and The Rock at 450. The Hamster cash reward is printed as $74,500, which is far above the quests beside it, so confirm the payout on the board.

What not to buy yet

Instinct is $2,500,000 from Nugget Man, on the mountain with four pillars behind the Floppas. Save it until the first island is comfortable. Race rerolls, Aura, and Baller are later purchases and are covered in the abilities guide.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

How many powers are in the game?

There are 18 powers in Update 4: Fly, Invisible, and Bomb (Common); Spin, Barrier, and Diamond (Uncommon); Flame, Paw, Ice, Gold, Water, Sand, Snow, and Moai (Rare); Dark, Dog, Dough, and Floppa (Legendary). Roll them at level 50, pick up the hourly tree spawn, take a player drop, trade, or clear a raid.

Where do stat points go?

Menu, then Stats. The four stats are Melee, Health, Weapon, and Power. Sources agree you can hold 7,200 points at level 2400 and that each stat caps at 2,400, so three stats can be maxed. A stat refund is reported at 50 Gems. Points gained per level are not consistent across guides, so this site does not print a per-level number.

What is the level cap in [UPDATE 4] Meme Sea?

The current cap stated on the experience page is level 2400. Update 4, dated July 10, 2024, is the changelog that raised the cap to that number. Later Roblox listing activity does not by itself describe a higher cap.

Do I need a code to play?

No. You can quest, roll powers, and sail without a code. Codes add Money, Gems, a $1 gag, a jumpscare, or a Rick Roll. Guides report that the Redeem Codes box expects level 25.

Should I pick Floppa or Cheems?

Either team. Floppa is the pirate side and Cheems is the marine side. Cheems Recruiter on Floppa Island can switch you to Cheems. The quest islands do not change with the team.
